NEW COVER!

For a while I've been meaning to get a new cover for the book The Callous Catcher. I, personally, never really liked much the cover with the forest look. Just a little too simple and boring. And it doesn't even explain or give a hint what the book is about. So for about two to three months I had been hunting for a completely new cover. And I finally found it.

I thought this cover looked AMAZING, thanks to my mom. And it's not only amazing, but it tells you what type of book it is. The whole look of it is brilliant and I love it!

I.R.R.I.T.A.T.I.N.G.

Schools been rough and Pre-Cal has been even rougher, but what's worse is my Writers Block. I've been trying my best but I can hardly get thirty words on a page each day. That's horrible. What should I do? Meditate? Yoga? Take 2 hour long showers? Writer's Block is basically what I call I.R.R.I.T.A.T.I.N.G. IRRITATING!!

ADVERTISING!

It's hard advertising a whole new book, especially if your a whole new author and no one has heard of you. So I printed a bunch of advertising posters of my ebook.
Isn't it pretty????

I went out today and spent about two hours taping these posters to just about EVERY mailbox in my neighborhood. I was NOT walking. I drove, because I'm lazy. But I still got them everywhere. They can't miss it.

THE END IS NEAR

I haven't written a blog in a while; been so busy with planning different ways to advertise my book, like printing out posters and basically telling everyone that walks past me on the street. And I've been busy with shopping for.......school! Dun, dun, ddduuuunnnn!!

THE END IS NEAR!!

Summer is almost over!! I'll be a senior this year, but that doesn't make me want to go to school anymore than how much I don't want to go to school. I have to take Pre-Cal and Chemistry:( At least they have creative writing this year. Now that's a plus! There was no way I was going to pass up that chance, even if the teacher forces us to write a lot of poetry (.......I don't like poetry.....).

Wish me luck. No, not luck. Pray that I'll get through this year. And with flying colors would be nice.

Oops

I wasn't planning on blogging today but I realized I made a mistake. Silly me! I noticed that I screwed up when setting up the chapters. It's not 47 chapters anymore. It's 49! Just two more, but hey, two more can matter!

EXCITED!

It's in the middle of the night and I've completely accomplished the aganozing brainstorming. 47 CHAPTERS and also a prologue and epilogue! Wow!! I scribbled pretty fast while my cat chewed at the end of my pen (which didn't help at all). Can't wait to go to sleep and wake, throw my hair in a bun, and start the awesome part: actually writing the book!

Night!

BOOK 2

I have all the characters I need and I'm almost finished with the brainstorming part. This one is going to be A LOT longer than the first one. More chapters and action and drama and romance and death. It's going to be a whole new ride and I can't wait to get started.

BRAINSTORMING.......GRR!

Ever been told in class to write an essay about a very hard (or just stupid) topic? Like why you should have chores or why wearing shorts too short is a distraction in class. Well, brainstorming on writing a new book, is harder. Because your all alone and you can't really ask for help because its YOUR story. So I literally brainstormed for better ways to brainstorm. I found three things that got my mind working in the right direction.
1. I like the noise, but not like a crying baby in the next room or spongebob on the TV. So I popped in my earphones and Imagine Dragons and Florence & the Machine blasted into my ears.
2. I always get thirsty when brainstorming as if using my brain so hard dehydrates me. Water works great sometimes but I think sweeter (or even a little sour) is a lot better. So I drink lemonade or tea with A LOT of sugar.
3. Scenery is a big deal for me. Sometimes all the people is helpful. Other times, I just really want to be alone. And I find that when I'm planning an action or extremely important fighting scene, I like when people are moving around me. Don't ask me why, it just gets my pen moving faster. But when I'm writing something soft and sweet, or maybe a very fragile secret that's about to be untold, I want to be somewhere where I cannot get distracted. I don't even want a bird to flap it's wings past me. So I either lock myself in my room or hide outside.
These three tips are helpful. Brainstorming sucks, like a lot, but I can't do anything without it.

IT'S FINALLY OUT THERE!!

Took me a while, but hey, I finally finished it. My book! It's an eBook though. (You gotta start somewhere!)  I've totally done what I've been dreaming on doing for like, ever. I've written every page, every chapter. And then I had to type it all up, which was excruciating PAINFUL. And last, release it to the world. It's the hard part, but also, the most exciting.

     Couldn't have looked better!
It is available almost everywhere. JUST 3.99!

And if your better than the Kindle or the Nook and would just like to read it online (nothin' wrong with that) here are two links to Lulu.com & Payhip:
