This is Beauty Right Here

Finally updating all websites to my newest book cover for The Ruthless Race (book 2). Woooww, you have no idea how amazing it feels to finally get rid of the old cover. Now I'll never have to look at the old cover again (at least once I get rid of the old editions- oh boy).

Exciting News!

What some of you may or may not know is that I strongly dislike the cover on my novel The Ruthless Race. It does not match the rest of the covers, the girl looks stretched out....it's terrible, I don't like it, I don't want to see it anymore. So....why don't we just CHANGE IT? I like the sound of that.

If you haven't already seen it, STAY TUNED FOR A COVER REVEAL. I AM SO F#$%*@ EXCITED!!!

An Update For You

To whoever cares to read,

So I'm in the process of getting each novel from The Gifted series updated. They're being proofread by an editor, and it just takes some time. So far, only the first novel has been completed, but it will take a little bit of time before I get the new, updated copies in the mail. The Amazon and Barnes & Noble paperback has to be updated, as well as their eBook, but that doesn't happen overnight. So, this is fair warning that if anyone orders a signed copy, it will be several weeks until it arrives, because I myself haven't even received the copies yet.

And so far my search on a new cover for the second book, The Ruthless Race, is going alright, but I haven't found anything good yet. Everything is almost perfect, but not enough, and I don't want to settle like I did to begin with. Stay tuned for more news on that; I'm not giving up on the search just yet.

This Point In My Life

 To whoever cares to read,

Hey guys! I've been working on my new novel recently, and when I mean "working" on it, I mean attacking it with a sledgehammer because, you know, I love it but I also think it could be better so I destroy and rewrite and destroy and the experience has been pretty terrible and wonderful and that's just the beauty of editing your own book. It's awesome, however I have moments where I have to control the urge to throw my laptop at the wall. How has your week been going?

Unfortunately, I'm a working girl with 3 (2 1/2?) jobs. Sort of. Still an optician, and recently started proofreading for another company, and also a freelance editor (who has had a total of one order in the past four months. Yup, pretty popular over here). But still it's never enough. I want more money, so I need more hours, but I don't want more hours as an optician, because I want more experience as an editor, but they don't pay enough money, so here I am. But that's okay, because I'm young (for now).

But enough about that. At the rate I'm going, it's probably going to be another month or two before I'm finished editing my book and can send it to an editor for fine tuning. If only there were more hours in the day (OR I could quit all of my jobs because I either 1) married a rich man 2) won the lottery or 3) found a sugar daddy that doesn't want any sugar).

Life is hard.
